Bournemouth 0-2 Everton – Rate the players

Everton were not at their best but still dominated a cup tie that they deservedly won 2-0 thanks to goals from Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku. The travelling Blues were indebted to Joel who may a good penalty save after a James McCarthy handball inside the area.

  1. In my view
    Everton were poor. Given
Bournemouth made clear they were going to make changes
I thought we could have played
    Mirrallas wide on left.
Barry was the stand out player. Great save by
Robles. He also made a great diving interception in the second half. I am no longer interested in what
    Martinez has to say .
The reality is that we have won three of the last four games against poor opposition.
I am afraid that when we meet a good team in the cup we will get beat

  2. Thank goodness the players attitudes are a lot better than Brian’s. This negativity is one of the reasons why our home form is not what it should be.
