Everton made hard work of seeing off League 2 Dagenham and Redbridge but were deserving of a 2-0 victory in a game they dominated. A mix of good goalkeeping, carelessness and over playing kept the score down but Roberto Martinez’ men will take their place in the fourth round draw.
