It was the battle of the Everton loanee midfielders in the FA Cup at the weekend, with Conor Grant’s Doncaster Rovers overcoming Ryan Ledson’s Cambridge United.
It was Conor Grant who played the decisive role in the tie, scoring twice, his second a fantastic effort that curled beyond the Cambridge keeper to seal a passage into the third round of the competition. After the match Conor Grant spoke to the Sheffield Star about his Everton future.
“Everton haven’t really spoken to me about the future.
“They want me to come out and play games and play well.
“So that is my focus at the minute.”
