Everton produced a thrilling and hardworking performance to earn a thoroughly deserved victory over Champions Chelsea.
Every player in Everton blue was fantastic with the young guns, in particular Barkley, Stones and Galloway excelling. It will however be Steven Naismith who deservedly takes the headlines after he scored a brilliant hat-trick after emerging from the bench early in the first half.
