Everton slipped to their first defeat of the season, losing to Manchester City in a tightly contested game at Goodison Park. Unfortunately the Blues lacked a cutting edge and despite enjoying some good periods during the game, Roberto Martinez’ team struggled to breakdown a resolute Manchester City defence.
