Bid submitted for Honda

Reports emanating from Italy, suggest that Everton have made the first move in the race to sign Keisuke Honda, lodging a €7 bid with CSKA Moscow. It is difficult to know how reliable the rumours are, but to read more visit


The Japanese international who would be available on a free transfer from January, has already told his current club that he has no intention of signing a new contract. A host of top European clubs are interested in signing the attacking midfielder, with AC Milan favorites to secure his signature. However the reports suggest that AC Milan are not keen to pay a transfer fee, which may play into the hands of Everton.

The Liverpool Echo ran a story yesterday, confirming Everton’s interest and suggested that Martinez is working on a deal for Honda while he is away covering the Confederations Cup for ESPN.
