The new Everton home and away shirts for the 2013-14 season have been leaked on the Internet. The shirts appeared on the website of Everton’s official merchandise partner, Kitbag and would appear to be the genuine articles.
Featuring the controversial new badge, these are the second set of shirts produced for the club by Nike. The home shirt is predominately blue with very little white trimming. The collar of the home top features the clubs Latin motto, Nil Satis Nisi Optimum, which was surprisingly omitted from the new badge. As promised by the club, it would appear that the motto will retain a prominent place amongst the clubs ethos.
The second shirt will be black for the second season in succession, with blue trim on the sleeves and around the collar.
Views on twitter have been overwhelming positive although many supporters are threatening to boycott any club merchandise featuring the new badge. Let us know your views, do you like the new shirts? Will you buy or are you planning to boycott?
