Everton 1-1 Arsenal
Marouane Fellaini returned to the Everton line up with a goal and was unlucky not to lead his team to three points with another inspirational performance under the floodlights at Goodison.
A night that started poorly for Everton, with Theo Walcott putting the visitors in front as early as the 2nd minute, could have and probably should have, ended in victory. Everton were certainly the better team and after equalising, through a long-range Fellaini effort, had a number of chances to take all three points.
There were many positives to come out of the night, with Jelavic looking a lot sharper in attack and Pienaar showing signs of returning to his early season form. With up coming games at Goodison against Tottenham and Chelsea, the unbeaten home record remains and you sense a real determination in the camp to ensure that Goodison becomes a fortress.
