Everton 2-1 Sunderland
A sublime second half performance from Mauroane Fellaini turned the game on its head to give the Blues a much-needed three points to end a run of 4 successive draws.
Trailing to an Adam Johnson goal right on half time Everton looked devoid of ideas, until Moyes moved Fellaini back into a more familiar midfield position. From here the Belgium orchestrated the game, firstly powering home a finish from just inside the 18 yard box before neatly setting up Jelavic for the winner with a fantastic flicked pass that left the Sunderland defence bamboozled.
On this form Fellaini is sure to draw admiring glances from all around Europe. A top four finish and Champions League football is a must if Everton are to secure the long-term future of the Belgium at Goodison Park.
